Inaugural Preserving the Promise Gala

The Inaugural Preserving the Promise Gala was held on February 1, 2020.  Guests were inspired by our keynote speaker, Dr. Andrea Roberts, Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Texas A & M University.  The evening was filled with diversity, inclusiveness, a silent auction, dinner, live entertainment with "Still Cruisin" and dancing. Sponsors and VIP ticket holders enjoyed access to a fabulous VIP Event.  Anne and Paul Smith served as Honorary Chairs. Willie King and Fred McCray served as Gala Chairs for what was a lovely and most memorable evening. Major sponsors were the City of Houston and the Jasper Lake Sam Rayburn Chamber of Commerce. 

Out of caution and concern for the safety of our patrons, the gala has been canceled for the last three years. We are so excited to announce that plans are underway for our Silver Anniversary Preserving the Promise Gala in 2025! Stay tuned for more details!
